This typeface started as a reminiscence on the nature of MS-DOS fonts shown on a blurry, not quite calibrated monitor (big up if you have a visceral reaction to the disquieting CRT degaussing noise) and evolved stepwise into something that is a little bit video games, a little bit Westminster by Leo Maggs, and a little bit ‘what if pixels were kind of sticky and made of jello’.

Polycarbon is a single-weight display typeface. It has uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, most punctuation and symbols, and pretty decent accented character coverage.
